At Rebel’s Redemption we believe the path to prison isn’t the end of anyone’s story. We also believe God’s abundant grace is meant for and is sufficient for all. Founded by guys on the inside who understand brokenness more than most, Rebel’s Redemption provides inscribed Bibles, nightly supportive prayer circles, and pathways to a new life. A community of broken believers seeking freedom from shame, personal healing and hope is open and waiting for men on the inside.

BECOME AN OUTSIDER

What does it mean to be an Outsider?

Outsiders first believe God’s redeeming grace is available to all. They want to see a broken world healed and lives transformed. An outsider provides financial and tangible support to Rebel’s Redemption programs in order to see healing and share hope for tomorrow. Outsiders have the opportunity to become part of the Rebel’s community by visiting during prayer circles, offering their talents and skills to train up Insiders, and providing work and support when Insiders rejoin the outside.

Bibles & Supplies

With the support of Outsiders, all Insiders receive a bag of hygiene items when they arrive and may request and receive a hand-stamped, inscribed Bible. This tangible, personalized item gives men a sense of belonging and peace.

Prayer Circles

Insiders are invited to join "The Committed" at nightly prayer circles where divisions are demolished, breakthroughs are commonplace and true community is built. These meetups are the building blocks of the community of Rebels Redemption.

Educational Pathways

Rebels Redemption provides systematic theological training for groups of Insiders. Rebels’ educational component is being expanded to include seminary degrees, workforce skill training inside and connection to work on the outside.

Finding yourself inside the walls of a prison is terrifying and disorienting regardless of what got you there. We on the outside forget that there’s more to a conviction than a single act. Insiders have often faced a lifetime of violence, insecurity and trauma leading them to their worst mistake.

At Rebel’s Redemption we believe everyone is more than their brokenness and God’s grace is sufficient for all. What started with inscribed Bibles has grown into a transformational community of believers who break down barriers built by race and gang affiliation to find belonging. With a new crew by their side, Insiders are able to reconcile their past, find personal healing, build a path to a new future and discover divine hope.
